The Client Return screen shows more details about the return. The top section shows the client details and amount due or received and paid.
-
The Checklist section shows calculations and amounts on the Tax Return, Bordereau Summary, Payment Amount, and client money amount to see if there are sufficient funds to make the payment. If the Return Amount, Bordereau Summary, and Payment Amounts are not the same, then they are highlighted in red.
-
The Payment Due Date reflects the date that the payment workflow needs to move onto the next step. For example, if we are awaiting funds and the workflow indicates that the funds should be received by Jan. 15th, then it will show as the 15th. If we pass that date and the Payment Status is unchanged, then the date will be highlighted in orange to indicate that we are in danger of missing the payment. If we miss the deadline date for the payment, then the date will be highlighted in red. If we are on track, then the date will be in blue and when completed the date will have a white background.
-
The Return Workflow section on the right indicates the current status of the return. The color of the banner indicates if we are on track (blue), behind schedule (orange), or we missed the deadline date (red). Grey indicates that the process is complete.
-
The individual offset dates for each stage of the return process are shown against each return stage.
-
Below the Checklist are three tabs; Comments, Attachments, and CM Allocations:
- Comments - The Comments tab allows you to comment on a return. You can also upload attachments which are shown in the Attachments tab. Lastly, you can 'tag' others by typing @ and the name and that person(s) will receive an email advising them of a pending action.
- Attachments - The Attachments tab automatically populates with documents generated by the system as the return process progresses. Any manual attachments added in the comments section or in the bulk status update from the list view page are visible here. Manually added attachments can be removed, however, system generated attachments cannot be removed.
- CM Allocations - The CM Allocations tab shows when funds have been allocated to the return in the client money system.
